Privacy policy
This policy covers two things: this website, and the IdentMint service that schools and organizations use to make ID badges.

Who we are
IdentMint is operated by Moore Zeigler Group, LLC ("MZG", "we", "us"), Montgomery, Alabama.
This website
When you request a pilot or contact us, we collect what you type into the form: your name, title, organization, email, phone number, and message. We use it only to reply and to follow up about IdentMint.
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party fonts or scripts. Our network provider, Cloudflare, processes standard connection data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and block attacks.
The IdentMint service
Schools, districts, and organizations ("customers") use IdentMint to create ID badges for their students, staff, and visitors. For that data, the customer is in control and we act on its instructions. We process:
- Names, IDs, school, grade, department, or role
- Photos from the customer's Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace directory, webcam capture, photographer import, or upload
- Visitor names, hosts, and check-in times
- Administrator sign-in details and an audit log of activity
We use this data only to provide the service to that customer. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, build profiles from it, or use it to train AI models.
Student data
For schools, student information is an education record under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We act as a school official under the school's direct control and follow the data privacy agreement we sign with each district. For students under 13, the school consents for this educational use under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Parents and eligible students who want to review or correct a record should contact their school. We will help the school respond.
IdentMint does not store biometric identifiers such as face geometry.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that host and secure IdentMint, under contracts that limit their use to providing that service. We will disclose data if the law requires it, and we will notify the affected customer unless the law forbids it. If MZG is sold or merges, customer data stays subject to this policy and to existing customer agreements.
Security
Data is stored in the United States and encrypted in transit. Photos and sign-in secrets are encrypted at rest, and district data is hosted on encrypted storage before any district goes live. Access is limited by role and recorded in an audit log. Details are in our security overview.
Retention
Pilot request information is kept for up to two years and then deleted. Customer data is kept for the length of the customer's agreement and deleted within 30 days after it ends, including backups.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you sent through this website. Requests about a school's records go to that school.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. We will notify customers in advance of any material change to how we handle their data.
